DESCRIPTION

The Vickers Vimy is a high-quality, photo-real 3D model of the legendary British heavy bomber and long-distance aircraft. Originally designed during World War I by Rex Pierson at Vickers Limited, the Vimy achieved immortality in the post-war era as the first aircraft to complete a non-stop transatlantic flight and the first flight from Britain to Australia. This asset captures the aircraft's imposing biplane configuration, featuring a large equal-span wing design with extensive wire rigging. The model is presented in an authentic early Royal Air Force (RAF) white finish, featuring prominent roundels on the upper wings and specialized F5055 markings on the twin vertical stabilizers.

The model is built with high-accuracy, low-poly geometry and utilizes clean, base-color shading suitable for various lighting environments. All renders are provided without post-processing.

Suitable for all major 3D software suites, including Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, and Unreal Engine. Ideal for historical combat simulations, documentaries on pioneering aviation records, and high-fidelity renders of iconic British aerospace engineering.

Features:

High-quality polygonal model, correctly scaled to represent the dimensions of the original heavy bomber and record-breaker.

Fully textured with all materials applied, covering the fabric-skinned airframe and complex wooden structural elements.

Accurate representation of the Vimy's design, including the twin-engine nacelles and characteristic biplane tail unit.

Detailed open cockpit and gunner stations featuring realistic glazing and defensive armament positions.

Realistic fixed landing gear assembly shown with a traditional tail-skid and authentic structural bracing.

Features two detailed engine housings, each fitted with a four-blade wooden propeller.

Professionally designed at real-world scale with organized, logically named Blender objects for easy scene integration.

All textures and materials are included in the package.

No cleanup is required—the model is ready for immediate use in your project.
