DESCRIPTION

This model is build very near to scale and is within a couple of percent of the actual general dimensions. It has a detailed exterior including radio antennas and pitot tubes. Landing gear have been finished with a moderate amount of detail too. In addition this model comes with animateable ailerons, flaps, elevators, rudder, landing gear, landing gear doors and turbines. It is available in several different formats. The model was developed for use in gaming, or video animation and use as in scenes with an exterior view only. It is best in a flight mode or as an aircraft model populating an airport scene. These models render very well and look very realistic using good animation and rendering technique. Exported formats are prepared well to work correctly with every standard modeling software. This model was not designed for 3D printing.
Liveries are based on actual service liveries. Many of the countries who flew the plane are represented here. Model is fully textured with all materials UVW mapped and applied. Most materials are planar mapped and major materials include texturing. All textures and materials are included as shown, 3ds Max models are grouped for easy selection, and objects are logically named for ease of scene management. No cleaning up necessary, just drop your models into the scene and start rendering. No special plugin needed to open scene.

The Series -30 was the third variant of the DC-9 having a slightly larger wing and longer fuselage than the series 10. It was built in large numbers from 1970 through 1986. Its safety and reliability has been great making it a popular airliner to fly for many airlines all over the world with many major and smaller carriers.
