DESCRIPTION

High poly model of the Imperial AT-AT Walker as seen in Star Wars.

Fully textured and rigged for animation.

3DS Max 2020 compatible. MAX format included (contact me for additional formats)

YouTube videos show the model being used in some short-composited scenes.

Animation & Rigging notes:

  • Please see attached video animation rigging guide.mp4 for on how to control the animated parts of the model.

  • The at-at animation.max is a fixed orientation and can't be rotated outside of its animated path.

  • The at-at rigged.max file contains a fully configurable rig that can be positioned, rotated and animated to suit your needs. To rotate the entire model, close all groups and use the drive section and body section dummies at the top of the model to rotate and position as needed

  • Open the Leg group to access the dummy controls for each limb. The Point Helper allows for movement of the leg bones in Z and Y. Movement in Z is possible but requires reposition of the leg base. The mid leg slider joint can be moved in Y along the defined path.

  • The leg base plates and toes can be controlled with the dummy rotations as show in animation rigging guide.mp4
