The Elite Knight Set is a medium armor set in Dark Souls. Attire of high-ranking knights from the realm of Astora. Worn by Undead Prince Ricard and Oscar, Knight of Astora. The Claymore is a greatsword in Dark Souls. The Claymore is perhaps the most versatile of the greatswords. It deals high damage and can stun-lock many opponents with ease. It can be obtained early in the game, swings fast for a greatsword, and has average scaling, making it a favorite for quality builds. Its one-handed thrust attack is also significantly faster than those of other greatswords capable of performing it. Wielded two-handed, its weak and strong attacks transition into each other well, allowing for fluid combos. The Crest Shield is a medium shield in Dark Souls. The Crest Shield is dropped by Oscar, Knight of Astora upon revisiting Undead Asylum. He spawns where the player first left him at the beginning of the game. What sets the Crest Shield apart from other medium shields is its massive 80% magic reduction. This makes the Crest Shield a powerful asset when facing magic-dealing enemies. When used in conjunction with miracles such as Great Magic Barrier, the player can become virtually immune to magic damage. The Crest Shield has medium deflection and a normal parry speed.
