DESCRIPTION

One of the things that holds people back from learning Chinese chess is that the pieces kinda look the same. Traditionally, the pieces in Chinese chess have the symbol for the name of the piece on the piece, and that's its only distinguishable mark. Also, some of the pieces have different symbols depending which color it is. It's all kind of confusing for a beginner.

These are 3d models inspired by the 2d western style drawings of the Chinese Chess pieces up on wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xiangqi drawn by Hari Seldon. I've modeled pieces that look like his western style pieces, so it's easy for you to follow what which piece is so you can learn the rules using wikipedia.
