Description

This 3D model was originally created with Sketchup 13 and then converted to all other 3D formats. Native format is .skp 3dsmax scene is 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00 The SM-3 missile is a long range surface to air missile used by US Navy Ships as well as ships in the Japanese and Dutch Navies. It is also being considered for land-based deployment. The missile is designed for use against high altitude targets, especially ballistic missiles and has proven one of the most capable parts of the US National Missile Defense strategy.

The missile was also demonstrated in an anti-satellite role when it was used to destroy USA-193, a spy satellite that had failed to reach its intended orbit.

This model is of the Block-II version of the missile, which has a slightly larger diameter and larger nose cone than the Block-I version, which has already been widely deployed.

Some of the dimensions may not be completely acurate due to limited refrence material.

I am printing it now on my Ender3 Pro. Had to scale it to 2% but so far it's looking good!
