Recreation of the iconic entrance hall for the Suzhou Museum, in China, completed in 2006 by the Great Ieoh Ming Pei.Very elegant mix of contemporary and traditional architectural language, also very effective in the precision of its design.
This is just a small piece of the museum, which is much much larger. The model stops at the east and west corridor, without the tree.Native format is Sketchup with Enscape renders. Detailed layer organization and a whole lot of components. Imported as good as could be in 3dsmax, with layers alright but quite a mess material-wise. All the textures are available as well, it's just a matter of finding them for the multi material used. 3D renders with Vray as can be seen in the square images.
Exports in fbx, 3ds and obj from the Sketchup file might not be as precise but look okay.
The geometry is really what matters here, hope you'll enjoy it as a sample of a great work of architecture, modeled at real world scale.
Attention !The model for the entire museum and its galleries is out now, check it out in my collection (see video preview).https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/exterior/landmark/suzhou-museum-entire-building-and-art-galleries
