The Roman Abramovich Stadium

The Roman Abramovich Stadium Free 3D model

Description

This 3D model was originally created with Sketchup 6 and then converted to all other 3D formats. Native format is .skp 3dsmax scene is 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00 The Roman Abramovich Stadium, home to Chelsea Football Club since 2015. Roman Abramovich bought the site, formerly Buckingham Palace, from the Royal Family in 2010. At first he wanted to make it his own home, but after buying the Palace he decided that it wasn't big or flashy enough for his home, so he decided to instead build Chelsea's new ground there. The 80,000 seat stadium, built for £400m on top of the £500m purchase of the palace, overtakes Wembley Stadium as the most expensive in the UK.

(This model is not as finished as I'd like, but time constraints and a family emergency have meant I'll have to enter it in to the contest like this. I was going to build new grand entrances, a pitch, executive boxes, a roof structure like the Emirates, but sadly I'll just have to do that in the future.)
