Description

This 3D model was originally created with Sketchup 8 and then converted to all other 3D formats. Native format is .skp 3dsmax scene is 3ds Max 2016 version, rendered with Vray 3.00 Welcome to New Orleans! This is a model of one of the shotgun houses in New Orleans. The reason it is called a double shotgun is because it is a duplex, 2 houses in one! The reason it is called shotgun is because of its long, slender layout. There are four chimneys, 8 fire places in all, one for each room! this house has no hallway, just a train of rooms. The four main rooms (from front to back) are the living room, bedroom, bedroom, and kitchen. In the far back are the laundry and bathroom. This house displays most of the details you would find on a typical New Orleans historic house such as the siding, shutters, brackets, trim, mouldings and lively colors. The house is on a raised foundation (like any in its vacinity) with only crawl space. This one has a bricked in crawlspace with some slits along the sides. Another perk to living here are the soaring 11 foot celings! This house is here to give you a little taste of the city of New Orleans (NOLA). I hope you enjoy this little house and please rate. Maybe someday you will visit New Orleans. I have and had a blast!
