DESCRIPTION

The fan is a device equipped with rotating blades driven by an engine, which aims to move a flow of air or other gases.

In the case of small fans, the term fan is used, while the term blower is used to indicate the large fans inside a circuit. [1]

If in addition to being moved, the aeriform is also compressed, we no longer speak of fan, but more properly of compressor.

In the home, it is often used to give people cooling quickly; in fact, moving the surrounding air towards the body, increases the rate of evaporation of sweat, thus lowering the temperature (by subtracting the latent heat associated with sweat evaporation). Unlike the air conditioner, it does not lower the temperature of the room.
