Sizing & ScalingFor Cosplay (Full-Size)
Measure from your hand to desired blade tip length.
Scale the entire model uniformly in your slicer.
Most users print between 90–110 cm total length.
For Action Figures / Miniatures
Measure the figure’s hand–to–floor distance.
Scale uniformly until the sword matches that dimension.
For tabletop minis (28–32 mm), reduce scale significantly.
Printing Recommendations
FDM or resin friendly
Suggested layer height: 0.12–0.20 mm
Print blade pieces vertically for best edge sharpness
Use super glue or epoxy for final assembly
Finishing Tips
Prime with filler primer to smooth layer lines
Wet-sand the blade sections before painting
Metallic paints + black wash produce realistic steel effects
The handle looks great with wrapped faux leather
You can heat-shape slightly with a hairdryer/heat gun on LOW to correct curvature before assembly
