FDM Printing Note:
While technically compatible with FDM printers, this miniature was specifically designed and optimized for high-detail resin printing. Fine details such as facial features, armor layering, beard braids, shield details, chainmail textures, and battlefield equipment are intended for resin production. For FDM printing, larger print scales are strongly recommended for optimal results.
Resin Printing Post-Processing Tips:
- Wash the printed miniature thoroughly using fresh Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) or a suitable resin cleaning solution.
- Ensure all uncured resin is removed from recessed areas, support contact points, and hidden cavities.
- Allow the model to dry completely before UV curing.
- Remove supports carefully before full curing whenever possible to reduce the risk of surface damage.
- Cure according to your resin manufacturer's recommendations.
- Light sanding can be used to smooth support marks before priming.
- Prime the miniature before painting for optimal paint adhesion and detail preservation.
