I purchased this model and found the description to be misleading. It states that the 3DM files are "in mesh," which can easily be interpreted as having been converted from 3DM into STL or OBJ, not that the 3DM file itself contains only mesh geometry. This is completely useless for anyone expecting a NURBS model, as is common in jewelry design (e.g., Rhino/Matrix).
Furthermore, if STL and OBJ files are already included, what’s the point of also providing a 3DM file that contains nothing but mesh? The only logical conclusion is that this was done to mislead buyers into thinking they’re receiving an editable NURBS file, which is not the case.
To reinforce this false impression, the seller also included colored renders that mimic the look of layers in Matrix/Rhino, making it seem as though the model is layered and fully editable.
I find this practice to be deceptive and lacking in transparency. I recommend caution and asking for clarification before purchasing.
