I like to be as multicultural as I can when it comes to music; if it has a good tune and I feel the soul of the musician coming through their work then I'm very happy to listen to it no matter where in the world it comes from. I have a good friend in Japan who is a fan of the Japanese band Radwimps, and she is such a massive fan I decided that I'd check them out too. My Japanese is shamefully bad so I'm not always terrible sure what the lyrics mean but that doesn't really matter; it's good stuff! I very much recommend checking them out, their music is catchy and melodic and even with the language difference you can really feel the soul in the music. Definitely on my iTunes playlist now!

Therefore the best tribute to them I can think of is to include them in my range of Proper Music Coasters. The Radwimps logo is usually just the black sigils on a while background but as a tribute to Japan I thought it was a good idea to superimpose it on the Japanese flag.
