The TRX4 Servo Eliminator is 100% designed by myself.
The purpose is to eliminate 1 of the 2 diff lock/un-lock servos,it also enables the user to easily use there own receiver and frees up a channel.
When I was designing this part I made sure to use existing hardware from the original bracket because I didn't see the point in needing special hardware for something like this, and thankfully it worked and only took 13 tries lol.
To install:
- Remove battery tray and existing servo holder
- Mount one servo in the new bracket, with the white stem of the servo centered between outer posts
- Install bracket (with servo) using the same screw holes as old bracket4.Assemble servo horn (see pictures)
- Center servo, then mount servo horn (see pictures)
- Attach black cable casing ends to the outside posts of the bracket, secure with existing screws
- Attach cable ends to ball joints on servo horn
- Reinstall battery tray
3D printing settingsPrinted on an Anet A8Filament: PLA, more then strong enough for this partInfill: 20% but you can go higher if you prefer
The base for the servo holder is on an angle due to the tight space it has to fit, therefor what I do is move the part up about 2mm and have supports fill in the space underneath
The servo horn can be printed flat
