Hushougou is a weapon that began to be used in China during the Han Dynasty. Its prototype is a stick-shaped hook used in tunnel warfare during the Warring States Period. It has moon fangs attached to the handle and the end of the handle is sharp. It was held in each hand and fought. The metal hook was mainly used to trip and knock down the enemy or to tie up the enemy's weapon. It also had a blade on the inside of the hook and was used to cut the reins of a horse. In close combat, it was a weapon that could be used for various attacks, such as striking with the moon fangs or stabbing with the head of the handle.
