The haladie is a dagger used by the Rajput tribe of India. It has a special shape with two curved blades connected in opposite directions, and the hilt is in the center. There are also two scabbards, and the blades are inserted separately. There are also some with a ring to protect the hand like the sainti, and the blade of the hilt protrudes further, or there are some with a saw blade. The Rajput tribe was driven out by Muslims in the 12th century, and this led to the haladi being known to the Islamic world, and later spread under the name of the Syrian knife.
