Three cheers for the return of the flats! Reminiscient of the old German "tin figures," these beautifully detailed Romans will be a welcome addition to anyone's historical figure collection. A painter looking for a challenge should pick these up as well as it will be the closest many will get to painting on canvas. If daunted by their small size, know that they enlarge beautifully - I printed three in resin at 250% in preparation for tackling the 32mms. Whatever the size, I discovered that resin figures print best with the head towards the build plate. Now all we need are some adversaries. How about some Pict or Celts or, better yet, Boddecia in a chariot? I can't wait to see what's next!
