The Leviathan Axe is the primary weapon of Kratos in the Norse era of the God of War series. It is a two-handed battle axe forged by the famous dwarf blacksmiths Brok and Sindri. This legendary weapon was specially created for Laufey (also known as Faye), Atreus’s mother, to counter the destructive power of Thor’s hammer, Mjölnir. Laufey later passed the axe on to Kratos before her death.
