I had a version like this for sell for some time that had the tactile nobbles on it and thought I must get around to doing a version without the tactile nobbles that is commonly fould on older stations and heritage stations.
After watching Everard Junction's YouTube video on laying platforms I decided to design a modern platform edging coping stone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tZg3gyui_PM&t=915s
This design is designed to lay the coping stones one by one for either a straight or curved platform. The Coping Stones are approx 12mm Wide, 10mm Deep and 1.5mm ThickI have also added a 2mm thick version if you prefer it, personally I used the 2mm thick version.
I have also added a FDM version which is slightly better suited to FDM printers, I used a 0.2mm nozzle to inprove print quality and had a 0.06mm layer height. But this does slow down the print process.
This item has been designed at OO gauge, 1/76.2 scale. For HO Gauge print at 87%, 1/87 Scale,For O Gauge UK print at 175%, 1/43.5 scale,For O Gauge International print at 158%, 1/48 scale,For TT Gauge print at 63.5%, 1/120 scale, for N Gauge UK print at 51.5%, 1/148 Scale, (Caution: I have not test printed this in N gauge scale).
Examples in the pictures were printed on an AnyCubic Proton M3 3D resin printer.I recommend printing these on a 3D resin printer to get the best print definition. As normal with my designs, there is a balance between accuracy and printability, hopefully not affecting the look of the model too much.
The main resins I use for printing can be found with my affiliated links below.I use AnyCubic Water Washable Resin for most of my items but use AnyCubic ABS Like Resin for anything that needs to be stronger and tougher.
