Baal Sword - Musou no Hitotachi - Raiden Shogun - Genshin Impact 3D print model
Description
Baal's sword from her burst attack, modelled after the ingame 3D-file. The details on the blade are embossed or carved for easier painting. About 1093mm long, its split in 24 parts plus 1 testpart to dial in clearances. Bill of material: ~100cm Ø6mm of round profile extrusion/ pipe/ rod as reinforcement a saw or similar to cut the rod normal crafting and 3D-printing supplies for best results use a FDM-printer for big parts and a SLA-printer for the details.
This is my first cosplay project and i did it by sheer coincidence. Long story short i was joking around in a cosplayer's chat on twitch, it became somewhat of a running joke and a few weeks later the sword was ready to print - the usual shenanigans of an engineer i guess. That said, i have yet to learn how to properly render things in f360 hence the bad pictures. i printed it with 5 walls @0.4mm width, 35% infill and it came out pretty massive, i guess 4 would be enough
as for orientation most parts can only be printed in one orientation, for the blade segments that can be printed in both it doesn't make a difference.
from what i recall the hilt-parts cant be printed support-free

Hello, could I metal 3D print this item for handle and Acyclic print other part ? Is it possible to add lighting (LED) in the model ?

sorry for the late response!
While i have no experience with metal printing/ laser sintering i can imagine that its possible.
Internal LED-lighting currently isn't possible, i tried some variations with led-strips, led-fibers and normal diodes, none of them were bright enough for my liking plus there were problems with packaging a lipo-battery+charger into this really slim model and thermals that could damage the model/ battery. i'll revisit the idea of internal lighting with an external powersource in the future.
