Frostmourne is a sword from the game World of Warcraft. It's first bearer was the Lich King Arthas. The model is derived from the in-game model and because of that it doesen't precisely match the look of the one on most posters and other pieces of original WoW advertisement and cover art.
Weapons Overview:Dual Blades (Top Section):The two main swords are long and symmetrical, with exaggerated and aggressive silhouettes.Features include spiked guards, hooked ends, and jagged inner edges, giving them a demonic or cursed aesthetic. The design emphasizes sleek but deadly forms, ideal for an assassin, dark knight, or boss character in a high-fantasy setting.Subtle sculpted details and sharp edge flow indicate a combination of hard-surface modeling and sculpt refinement.
Ornamental Axes (Bottom Left):These appear to be secondary weapons or enemy armaments.Their design is highly organic, with twisted, sinewy forms suggesting corruption or arcane magic. The asymmetry and sharp hooks add a savage and chaotic visual language to the weapons.Likely created using dynamic topology sculpting or multiresolution for more artistic freedom.
Spheres (Bottom Right):The two spheres are likely used for reference (scale, material testing, or lighting calibration). One of them may represent a high-poly base mesh for retopology or shader previews.
Technical Notes:The grid background and selection outline confirm this is captured within Blender. The weapons are currently selected in Object Mode, with visible matcap shading for clear evaluation of depth and form.Smooth shading has been applied, and detailing suggests further steps like retopology, baking, and texturing are in progress or planned.Usage & Applications:Game asset pipelines (RPGs, hack-and-slash, action-adventure).Concept art visualization and promotional renders.VR/AR fantasy experiences or cinematic storytelling.
