Upgrade your 8BitDo Pro 2 Bluetooth Controller with this custom-designed thumbstick base!
If you have spare GuliKit thumbstick caps around—either from buying a GuliKit TMR Electromagnetic Joystick upgrade kit for another controller (like an Xbox controller) or from a standalone GuliKit KingKong Ring Thumbstick Kit—you probably noticed that if you try to fit those GuliKit joystick bases onto your 8BitDo Pro 2, it won't work properly. The original GuliKit base geometry causes the dome to rub and scrape aggressively against the 8BitDo Pro 2 controller shell.
This custom 3D model solves that exact issue. It features a completely redesigned dome geometry that guarantees 100% smooth, frictionless 360° movement inside the 8BitDo Pro 2 frame, while keeping the proprietary GuliKit hexagonal top mount fully intact so you can easily snap your GuliKit caps on.

Optimized for 3D Printing: Designed with a 1mm wall thickness for the dome to ensure lightweight performance, while keeping a solid, robust hexagonal stem for durable gameplay.
3D Printing Recommendations (Crucial for FDM):

Nozzle Size: A 0.2mm nozzle is strictly required if printing on FDM. Do not use a standard 0.4mm nozzle, as the slicer will not be able to properly generate the thin walls of the hexagonal stem, leaving gaps around the central hole.

Material: PLA+ is highly recommended for its durability and mechanical resistance. SLA Resin is also a great alternative for maximum stem precision.

Layer Height: 0.1mm or lower for optimal surface smoothness on the dome.

Orientation: Print with the flat base of the dome facing down, directly on the build plate (as shown in the 3D model preview). This ensures maximum bed adhesion and leaves the outer surface of the dome smooth and clean, as supports will only be needed under the overhanging curve of the dome itself.
Note: This is a digital file for 3D printing (adapter base only). GuliKit caps and 8BitDo controller are not included.
