Book of Fantasies is designed to make your manuscript unique:you can adorning it with some 3D decorative elements.

You can make your favorite book unique, you can create a grimoire to use in your role-playing games or you can make beautiful the collector where you keep the papers of all of your dead or alive characters.

A cover is composed of 4 basic areas:

1) some corners, which will fit on the original cover.

2) a center front panel.

3) some bars that can direct and regulate the distances between the center panel and the corners, so that it can be centered.

4) a rigid book rib.

Everything is designed to be tightened with bolt and screw systems.

The covers are designed for A4 size. The side bars and the abundant holes in the center panel allow for adaptation even to similar sizes or variations of a few cm.

The models have been tested by us, and are made to be applied to notebooks or books with hard or semi-rigid covers that can still support the structure.

In order to be able to adapt the covers to smaller or larger formats we recommend scaling the center panel while leaving the rest of the structure unchanged, however, it is important before going to print to make measurements and calculations based on the book in your possession.Unfortunately, no matter how hard you try, you cannot create a universal cover for all books, but by adapting this center panel to your needs you can certainly cover a wide range.

The covers can be mounted thanks to a system of screws and bolts, our tests were satisfactory, but depending on the quality of your printing, possible shrinkage or swelling of your filament, humidity etc, the size of the screws might slightly vary by not tightening more properly.Before printing the whole set we suggest doing a test with one screw and consider enlarging or reducing it by 1-2% depending on your result.

The parts were all designed to be printed without supports, but some parts turn out to be more critical for details and mechanical functions, so for some of you who always demand maximum results and detail from your prints we suggest activating supports on some of these parts.

Thickness inserted inside the cover could force the rib and deform the book over time, so we recommend not applying it to valuable books.

Finally, if you intend to mount the cover on a valuable manual or book, we suggest inserting cloth, or paper to protect the original cover.
