The berbalang is a gaunt, winged grave-haunter with a skull-pale face, stretched violet skin, long talons, exposed ribs, and folded batlike wings. It belongs in battlefields after the banners fall, cliffside crypts, necromancer ruins, and burial grounds where the dead are never left in peace. This sculpt catches the creature as a predatory skirmisher on a bone-strewn round base, arms spread wide as if it has just dropped from the dark.

In play, the berbalang is cleverer than a common ghoul. It tracks corpses and wounded prey with Grave Scent, slips away with Night Glider, unsettles enemies through its Horrid Visage, and can loose a Shriek of the Charnel Wind to punish clustered adventurers or shut down desperate healing. Use it as a cemetery stalker, astral horror, undead-adjacent ambusher, or recurring night predator that retreats into darkness and returns from another angle.
