DESCRIPTION

All of my assets are available for half the price to all of my Patreon Supporters. https://www.patreon.com/Vulkrat I spent the past few weeks making a model of Karl Ruprect Kroenen's mask from Hellboy | 2004. Before the most recent Halloween, I was trying to find a good 3D model of his mask for me to print for a potential costume. However that Idea was quickly shot down when I saw all of the poorly made 3D models out there. None of them had the accessibility I was looking for, since I'm relatively new to 3D printing, and they all have strange proportions. I wanted something that was easy to paint, open to personal interpretation, and easy to modify. SO I SET OUT AND MADE MY OWN!

Information

  • I provide 4 different mask models and a .3mf file, to ensure that you all can make what you want. I saw a few references online where the cheeks were open, and a few where they were closed. So I figured I'd just give you guys all of the possible options. If you guys are just making a decorative piece out of this, I suggest using the 3D model with all of the part plates.

  • Every separated part has a cutout that it fits inside of. Whilst this means you probably need to do some more sanding, it makes the painting process MUCH FASTER, since you no longer have to mask off every area you don't want to paint.

  • You can remove the placeholder lens' to use as a stencil, if you wish to use this for cosplay purposes.

  • The lens caps is completely optional, since the lens' already fit very snuggly. You can use them as a spacer, if you want the lens' to be pushed out further.

  • I added some strap loops on the sides of the mask that you can change out, just incase you want metal ones. If you wanna do your own thing with the straps, I also include some plugs that you can put in their place, to ensure there aren't any unnecessary holes in your work.

  • I saw a lot of references that depicted Kroenen with a spring on the side of his cheek, but I imagine many people want a real spring instead of a crappy plastic one, so the tube that holds the spring is split in 2 pieces that slide together, giving you guys to option to add your own customization to it, before gluing it together.

  • Assuming you have a relatively average head, this should be a perfect fit. Just make sure that you scale the mask to fit the width of your head. You should be able to do this in your 3D printing program.

This is my first big 3D project that was made specifically for printing, so I do deeply apologize if I forgot something or messed anything up. Everything is manifold, and I printed it myself to make sure it's good, but I still don't know if I messed anything up. If you guys notice something, please let me know, and I'll be sure to fix it!I made this thing in an attempt to build some more funding for my game, so all of your support will genuinely be greatly appreciated. You're helping us make our game as great as it can be.
