Fehu rune - ready to print simplistic viking decoration. Where history meets modern technology and simplicity.
A rune is a letter in a set of related alphabets known as runic alphabets native to the Germanic peoples. Runes were used to write Germanic languages (with some exceptions) before they adopted the Latin alphabet, and for specialised purposes thereafter.
The Fehu rune represents the ⟨f⟩ and ⟨v⟩ sound in the Younger Futhark and Futhorc alphabets. The Proto-Germanic name *fehu has been reconstructed, with the meaning of money, cattle, wealth.
The material used for printing the piece on the picture was common white PLA, printed on my Bambulab A1 Mini.I used a black canvas for the background of my printed piece.
