3D Printing Settings & InstructionsGeneral Information: This model is a high-poly sculpt designed for high-resolution printing. The mesh is watertight and has been checked for errors. Given the intricate details (jewelry, braids, and sunglasses), Resin (SLA/DLP) printing is recommended for the best results, but it prints well on FDM with proper tuning.
For FDM/PLA Printers:
Layer Height: 0.12mm to 0.16mm (fine quality).
Nozzle: 0.4mm (standard) or 0.2mm (for higher facial detail).
Infill: 15% to 20% (Grid or Gyroid pattern).
Supports: Required.
Recommendation: Use Tree Supports (or Organic Supports). They are easier to remove from the delicate areas like the fingers and the sunglasses frames without damaging the model.
Wall Line Count: 3 walls for better strength.
For Resin (SLA/DLP) Printers:
Layer Height: 0.05mm (50 microns).
Exposure: Standard settings for your specific resin type.
Hollowing: Recommended to hollow the bust (2mm wall thickness) to save material and reduce suction force. Don't forget to add drain holes at the base!
Supports: Medium supports for the base/body, Light supports for the fingers, glasses, and chain details.
Post-Processing Tips:
Support Removal: Be very careful when removing supports around the fingers and the sunglasses bridge, as these are the most fragile parts. Use flush cutters rather than pulling.
Finishing: Sand lightly if needed, apply a grey primer to highlight details before painting.
