DESCRIPTION

This model is a not quite a replica but is based on real artifacts found in ancient Mycenaean burial chambers. In ancient bronze age Greece, possibly sometime around the 1400s BCE, it seems as though the weathly took some of their ornate jewlery to their grave--which included weapons like this dagger. One of the most famous pieces is this The Lion Hunt dagger because of the scene depicted in gold leaf along the blade.

This model makes the dagger's original design into a carved relief instead of a painted scene and, for variety, includes another scene with lions, deer, and birds found on another dagger for the opposite blade side. The files include the dagger in one piece and the blade and handle separated.

Happy printing!
