This is a detailed figurine that requires supports for a high-quality print. Please follow these guidelines for the best results.
Supports: Yes, Absolutely Required. This model cannot be printed without supports. You must generate them in your slicer software. Supports are critical for the chin, the inside of the hood, under the arms, the wings, and the tip of the tail.
PRO TIP: Tree Supports (available in Cura and other slicers) are highly recommended! They are much easier to remove from a complex model like this and will leave fewer marks on the final print.
Layer Height: 0.12mm - 0.16mmTo capture the smooth curves and fine details, a layer height of 0.12mm is ideal. A height of 0.16mm will also produce a great result with a slightly faster print time.
Infill: 10-15%A low infill percentage is perfect for this decorative figurine.
Walls (Wall Line Count): 33 walls will ensure the model is strong, especially for delicate parts like the wings and horns.
Plate Adhesion: BrimA brim is recommended to provide a stable foundation for the model and prevent any chance of it detaching from the build plate during printing.
Painting:This model is a joy to paint! As you can see in the photos, a little bit of color brings him to life. Use acrylic paints for the best results.
Happy printing!
