Chance the Rapper, whose real name is Chancelor Johnathan Bennett, is a Chicago-born rapper, producer, and activist. He released his first mixtape, 10 Day, while suspended from high school, and gained recognition in 2013 with his second, Acid Rap. He's collaborated with Kanye West and Lil Wayne, and is known for his Christian-themed songs. Chance is also the founder of Socialworks, a non-profit that uses the arts and civic engagement to empower Chicago's youth.
