Yet iin reality, t really boils down to the eyes of the character. And particularly the eyebrow. In a study regarding which facial features provoked recognition among observers, it was found "eyebrows" are the most salient feature in viewer's minds. Followed immediately by the eyes, themselves Eyes ARE the focal point of any character portrait study. From the eyes all other geometry flows. As everything is "proportioned" in relation to the eyes.
