Basil Hawkins is an infamous pirate from North Blue known as the Magician and the captain of the Hawkins Pirates. He is one of twelve pirates who are referred to as the Worst Generation. Hawkins attempted to create a Pirate Alliance with Eustass Kid and Scratchmen Apoo but he was betrayed by the latter who had secretly become a subordinate of the Emperor Kaidou. Defeated by Kaidou, Hawkins joined the Beasts Pirates and became one of the crew's Shinuchi.
