3D model descriptionKarinto (カリント, Karinto?) is a fisherman who appears in the Dragon Ball anime. He is the father of Éclair and the grandfather of nine children. For 60 years, Karinto has gone fishing at the same time and caught fish to feed his family and neighbors. Goku meets Karinto when he spends the night with his family after Mr. Popo sent him to find someone strong and train his mind. One of his grandsons tells him about Yaochun, the strongest man in the area. So Karinto accompanies him the next morning to the halfway point. After Goku easily defeats Yaochun, he and Karinto meet again, and Karinto teaches him how to fish. Goku manages to train his composure, so Karinto must be the man Goku should have found in the first place.
