In 2023, archaelogists excavating a gravesite in the southern Bavarian town of Nördlingen made a rare find. They unearthed a bronze short sword in such a pristine condition that it almost shines. The sword was 3000 years old. Archaelogists believe it was forged at some point in the end of the 14th century B.C.E.I was living in Nörlingen when the sword was found, so I decided to honor it with this model. All the replica details have been modeled following indications and pictures provided by the Bavarian State Office for Monument Protection.
