Strazak 3 was a Polish fire-fighting ship of East German production, which entered service in 1965. The length of the unit at the time of launching was 32.2 m, immersion – 1.7 m, with a maximum width of 5.9 meters. Propulsion was provided by a single 4-stroke 6nvd26a engine.the cruising speed oscillated around 11-12 knots. The crew of the ship was made up of 12 people, including 6 firefighters. The fire-fighting ship Fireman 3 was built at the Schiffswerft Berlin-Koepenick River shipyard for the seaport of Gdańsk. This unit, as well as three other twin units built for the ports of Gdynia, Szczecin and świnoujście, belonged to the ibis class, while the manufacturer, for the needs of Polish customers, redesigned the interior space and installed special equipment, different from the serial mounted on ships of this class. In the course of his long service, Strazak 3 performed tasks related to the independent fight against fires on units located in the port and on the port redoubt, with the fight against fires of port equipment or water supply to land units. The unit was withdrawn from service in 1992.
