Ancient Egypt Boat Model A, according to the ancient Egypt wall paintings and the archaeology evidence.

The type of boat was used on the Nile, in the oasis, lakes [Fayum], in the wetlands and lagoons.

It had a crew of 10 men: 1 rudder man, 8 oarsmen, 1 chief.

The actual form of the deck is still disputed: so you find both the types in this package.
Deck A: closed deck: oarsmen stayed on their kneels when rowing.
Deck B: open deck as in commom boats: oarsmen sat in the boat when rowing.
In any case, both types of decks were in use in Ancient Egypt.

Boats like this one, and with closed deck, were used by the Egyptian fluvial marines.
