Shape shifting wheel from Tire Round Shape to Track drive triangular shape, it is controlled via drivers and contraints, it is NOT rigged, the main shape of the wheel is adjusted via the controller, it drives a shape key of a curve that gives the belt of the tire its shape, it also drives local rotation of two controllers that mainly drive the base of the tire. The whole tire has a parent object so it can be animated.
It has a pseudo hydraulic system that controls the position of the tire, it does it by having the hydraulic arms parented to oposite sides of the main controller and contrained to their counterpart, it does NOT have bones or poses. the hydraulic cables are curves hooked to parent objects
The controller can be engaged from 0 to 100 and the shape behaves acordinly.
1. Animation Basic modification of local location of the bels in an axis so they wrap around the curve.
2. Materials Every material as seen in the thumbnail, compatible with eevee and cycles (Procedural created via node system in blender 2.83) not baked into images
3. Scene Native .blend The scene and lighting setup used in the thumbnail, including the compose setup of denoising and ambient oclucion.
1. Exchange files This do Not support the shape controller or animation but if you need both shapes are in individual files.
