2TE116 (2-section locomotive with power transmission, type 116) — a series of two-section mainline freight locomotives with electric transmission, produced in the USSR and Ukraine, Lugansk locomotive plant (PJSC Luganskteplovoz, previously VZOR — Voroshilovgrad plant named after the October revolution)

One of the most common freight locomotives in Russia and post-Soviet countries. The railwaymen were also nicknamed Humpback (for the characteristic shape of the roof), Fantomas and Boeing
