Drivable vehicle

  • Simulation in Unreal Engine 5.2 using Chaos Vehicle
  • Modeled in Blender 3.6

The 3D vehicle model was inspired by the Battle Bots shows, which I find fascinating and exciting.

  • Rigged with bone weighting optimized for Unreal Engine.
  • UV unwrapped with the textures.
  • The simulation is done in Unreal Engine using the Chaos Vehicle as the core physics simulator.
  • It uses a Control Rig to fine-tune the suspension movements and the new Enhanced Inputs.
  • Basic UI to display the speedometer, and naturally all the necessary UE Blueprints.

The Unreal Engine Project is ready to play. The blueprints for the Vehicle, Control Rig, Enhanced Controls and the simple UI are easy to modify and a are good starting point to learn how to create a vehicle simulation. They can give you an idea of the entire process from modeling in Blender to having a running vehicle in UE.
