DESCRIPTION

Giraffe 1X é um componente de vigilância aérea ideal no domínio Ground Based Air Defence (GBAD) que fornece aos comandantes de defesa aérea terrestre dados de alvos de qualidade para engajamento, detecção de drones e detecção e alerta de contra-artilharia, foguetes e morteiros (C-RAM), em uma única solução. Ele é o sensor principal para um sistema Very Short Range Radar (VSHORAD) e pode ser usado para complementar sistemas GBAD maiores ou como uma solução Counter-UAS (C-UAS), explicou Johan Reis.

Um produto com várias aplicações, dimensões reduzidas e capacidades superiores, é facilmente integrado a qualquer tipo de plataforma móvel ou estrutura fixa, capaz de ser instalado em uma ampla gama de veículos, desde caminhonetes a blindados, como o Guarani do Exército Brasileiro, que se encontrava exposto no stand da Saab com o radar Giraffe 1X instalado.
