Easy VDB Addon - Realistic Fire and ExplosionsAbout the AddonEasy VDB is a collection of 20 VDB models, that can be imported with one click and each has multiple shaders to choose from. The Goal we have with this Addon is to make it easy for everyone to work with realistic Fire and Explosions within their projects. Changing Colors or adding Detial to Fire and Smoke has never been easier. You can also use the models themself if you dont use Blender, the vdb. files are within the downloads.

One Click ShadersWhen importing a VDB using the Addon you will be able to choose from a few different Shaders to use on the Model. Tow of the Shaders are made to add Detail to the Model and can improve the overall look of your project. Theres also a Shader that only displays Smoke and another one that is specifically made to improve overall Performens of the scene.

What are VDB Models ?The VDB volume format is a storage format used in the context of OpenVDB, a popular open-source library for working with volumetric data, particularly in computer graphics and visual effects. The VDB volume format efficiently represents volumetric data, such as smoke, fire, clouds, and other effects, using a sparse data structure called a sparse voxel grid. This format allows for compact storage and efficient manipulation of volumetric data, making it suitable for a wide range of applications in computer graphics and simulation.

Adding ColorWithin the addon you have control over 4 different Color Settings. Tow for somke and tow for fire. Density of the Smoke and Amount of Flames can also be changed with just one click.

Adding DetailAdding Detail can be done in tow different ways using this addon. 1 by chaning the shader you are able to add more detail to fire and smoke or even improve the looks of the Model even mor by adding sparks. 2 by chaning the settings within the Materials Tab to have maximum control.
