Size 12x12cm, displacement height 0.75cm.

Attention: The material consists of two layers and to create this material it is necessary to duplicate the geometry of the snow object using matID #1 and #2 and respectively.
The bottom layer No. 1 creates a total mass of white snow, layer No. 2 creates an air layer of transparent snowflakes. Layer separation in the final render is done using displacement.

Be careful when applying the material to the entire scene, it can significantly increase the render time or run out of RAM.
The material requires at least 6 rays per pixel, because subpixel detail is applied.
It is recommended to use for near objects to achieve highly realistic detailed pictures.

Textures 2048x2048px, layer1: diffuse, displacement, normals; layer2: displacement, normals, opacity.

The material was created and tested only in 3ds max + vray (version 3.1 and higher).
