I present my collection of synthetic HDRI light textures - 'Flat' series
This time it is an '8 sides Softbox', with an almost completely flat style.
It means that the lighting is homogeneous on almost the entire surface except for a small edge where the luminosity gradually falls (this is so because I personally do not like HDRIs with sharp cut edges and i always made it with a subtle smoothing in the contour)
The textures are able to illuminate a scene using it in the texture channel: luminance, self illumination, emission ... or whatever it is called in the program you use.
The example images are simple scenes illuminated only with a plane with the HDRI as a texture (in diffuse / albedo, in emission and in transparency) using Cycles as a render engine
They are soft tones like those that would be used in Photography when using filters or gels in the studio flashes.
They have 4k resolution (4096 x 4096 pixels) and a small black border to not lose the gradient at the edges (this is more noticeable depending on the shape of the Softbox)
