DESCRIPTION

My fanmade 3D model of the Neo-Constitution-Class starship seen in the Star Trek: Picard Season 3 trailer.

First seen in the Star Trek: Picard Season 3 trailer, the Neo-Constitution-Class starship is a new generation of ship. It is also the class of ship that the USS Titan NCC-80102-A belongs to. Based on the earlier 23rd century Shangri-La-Class (which a USS Titan also belonged to), this new ship utilized the new wave of technology introduced at the dawn of the 25th century, such as nacelles first seen on the Sagan-Class ships. This model is not entirely accurate as it was built when the only references available was from the first Season 3 trailer. The ship was designed by Bill Krause.

Comes as a packed Blender file with 4096 PBR textures. FBX and OBJ exports are included. Textures are also included as a separate .zip file, including registries for the canonically seen USS Titan, as well as a ship named after the showrunner, the USS Matalas. The packed Blender files has the materials set up for rendering in Eevee.

Not bad at all. Considering it's a low detail model it has pretty much everything you need and all in the right places. I spent a bit of time adding more detail to the diffusion maps and lighting the model with some extra highlights and ended up with something pretty decent. Must admit I wish there was a high poly, high detail version to buy .. but this does satisfy in the meantime. Easy to use in DAZ.

5 stars. Excellent work and amazing attention to detail. Was easily able to redo the decals in photoshop to make this the Enterprise G (spoiler!). Will definitely purchase from again.

Geometry
No N-gons
N-gons are polygons with five or more sides which might cause issues in certain processes like rendering or animation. Learn more
No faceted geometry
Faceted geometry uses flat surfaces without smoothing, which can look unrealistic on curves.
Learn more
Manifold geometry
Manifold geometry ensures all surfaces are properly connected, avoiding issues like edges shared by more than two faces.

Textures & material
PBR textures
PBR textures simulate how light interacts with materials, making the model look realistic under different lighting.
Required PBR textures:
- Base Color
- Roughness
- Metalness
- Normal

No embed textures
Embedded textures are stored inside the model file, increasing its size and sometimes causing compatibility issues.

Square textures
Texture aspect ratio is the width-to-height ratio of a texture. Expected texture aspect ratio: 1:1
Learn more
Power of 2 texture sizes
Textures with dimensions in power of two (e.g. 512x512px, 1024x1024px) are used to optimize performance and memory usage.

Assigned materials
Materials are applied to the 3D model to allow visualize a model's surface properties and appearance.
Learn more
UVs & naming
No UV overlaps
UVs overlap when multiple points on the 3D model's surface are mapped to the same point on the UV island causing texture stretching.
Learn more
UV unwrapped model
A UV unwrapped model means its 3D surface is flattened into 2D space, allowing textures to be applied accurately.
