SpaceX Falcon 9 and Dragon Cargo Capsule 3D model

Model Information

These models were built using reference and blueprint data, from the latest version of the Falcon and Dragon variants, and constructed with a moderate to dense mesh for best rendering results. These models are pre-subdivided. Thus no subdivision will be needed. Smoothing groups were carefully assigned to all surfaces.

This model is render ready with V-Ray with 3ds Max. All UV's are non-overlapping.

Animation

All of the major parts, Falcons legs, Dragons solar panels. These animations only work under 3ds Max, and none of the file formats.

Mapping

All mapping was baked in VRay, which covers the exterior parts. The Dragon capsules mapping was baked at 8192 x 8192, and the Falcons mapping was baked at 4096 x 4096. See the documentation file for help when assigning the mapping to the meshes.
