ISS International Space Station Low-poly 3D model

Description

Game-optimized, highly realistic and great looking model of the International Space Station, based on the NASA HD model. Perfectly suited for:

  • VR application
  • Mobile games
  • Closeup shots and renderings
  • Long distance shots

The ISS is a commonly used model for video games, however, there are only few good looking, realistic, and lowpoly models out there. This model will cover all your needs.

I've completely recreated the ISS based on the NASA HD model and photographs and managed to reduce the poly count by a factor of 10 in comparison to the NASA model, down to under 30K vertices. Textures have been re-rendered and optimized for low-memory usage. You can choose if you want to use high resolution or low-resolution, mobile game optimized textures. Textures are PBR ready. The model has an intuitive hierarchy, thus is easy to manipulate, for example the solar pane orientation.

Seriously? Are you selling for money a free downloadable model from the Nasa website ? https://solarsystem.nasa.gov/resources/2378/international-space-station-3d-model/ If you are not the creator of it, then this behavior seems quite unfair.

Would love some tech details or references for this one! Eg labeling the various ships that are docked to it, and a naming convention pointing out the various arms, detection equipment, etc. Would save some valuable time spent cross-referencing things!
