Orderly Tangles

Orderly Tangles Low-poly 3D model

Description

In his 1983 book, Orderly Tangles, published by Columbia University Press, Alan Holden described symmetric arrangements of linked polygons which he called Regular Polylinks. This .max scene file includes three Orderly Tangles of the most common Platonic Solids; Four Triangles, Six Squares, and Six Pentagons. The models are also available as .obj files for download, which can be imported into such applications as Blender or anything which supports the .obj file type. The models are UV Unwrapped, and can accept any seamless, tileable texture or material. This set is perfect to use as interesting architectural props or abstract sculptural geometry in any scene. The models are also perfect for exporting for 3d Printing.
