This file contains the DNA model which is constructed using icospheres that accurately portray how the elements are set up (Phosphorous, Nitrogen, Carbon and Hydrogen) Along with the DNA model, the file contains the separate base pairs (A G T C) and a model of a single helix strand as it’s own object. The DNA is composed of a repeating strand of Adenine and Cytosine base pairs. This model has value for commercial use and because of the accurate base pairing it has educational value as well. For the blender native file, all modifiers on the DNA model remain (array modifier, curve modifier and subsurf modifier). This allows for reducing or increasing the amount of base pairs that are chained. There is also the option to manipulate the position of the DNA using a curve modifier and spherical empties.
