DESCRIPTION

L’architecte Seitz bâtit en 1868 cette porte cochère en bois en forme d’ogive, décorée de quatre ferronneries qui évoquent l’éclosion de boutons de fleurs. Les deux consoles sous le garde-corps, sont deux vieillards, les pancartes qu’il maintiennent entre leurs mains comportent les initiales de l’architecte. In 1868, the architect Seitz built this wooden carriage entrance in the shape of an ogive, decorated with four pieces of ironwork that evoke the blooming of flower buds. The two consoles under the guardrail are two old men, the signs they hold in their hands bear the architect’s initials. Parisian neo-Gothic architecture: the door of 26 rue Gay Lussac (75005) Paris.
